Your Radio and TV Listening Grids are due on Monday.
The other homework for Monday is detailed on Page 19 of your Workbook. The scripts you will be selecting from are in Chapter 11 of your textbook – Announcer.
Please note that during class while assigning this homework I added a couple more scripts to the list of scripts that you are NOT to record for playback in class. However, in order to hear what you do best, please do read aloud (and record if you wish) ALL of the scripts in the chapter so that you can decide which you want to present during class.
In looking at the scripts again there are TWO that you are NOT to record for playback in class…
– Radio Imaging – a very specialized kind of VO
– Love and Country – a movie trailer – also a very specialized kind of VO
I decided to let you consider Super T as one of the scripts you can record for class – do all pieces of the script – just decide if you are the announcer pointing to Super T, or if you are the character Super T. It could go either way. Although because this is the Announcer chapter – it is most likely a fun – stylized announcer read that would work best.
Please refer to Page 19 for the Written part of the assignment…
– Start developing your personal markings – USE PENCIL
– Highlight Copy Points/Key Messages
– Identify the Hero Client/Product
– Describe the Demographic
